I do volunteering work in the Porto Hub, which is a part of the Global Shapers Community, a volunteering initiative from the World Economic Forum (WEF).

I organized the Iberian retreat in September 2025, bringing together 80 Shapers from across Spain and Portugal plus invited guests for a weekend retreat in Porto.

I'm currently leading the Digital Upskilling project, where we're developing programs to give high school students from underrepresented communities the tools and knowledge they need for the digital economy. We're focusing on areas like technology, automation, and artificial intelligence, skills that are becoming essential but aren't always accessible to students in public schools or poorer areas.

2023

Organizer of the MIT Health Datathon, held from 18th to 19th of May 2023, bringing together teams to develop data-driven solutions for healthcare challenges.

2021/2022

Led NEB FEUP/ICBAS, managing 45 students, optimizing recruitment, restructuring projects, overseeing events, and launching a team-building weekend to strengthen the Bioengineering student community.

2020/2021

Managed memberships, secured partnerships, and built a Bioengineering Alumni Database to strengthen connections with graduates and industry professionals.

2019/2020

Responsible for all the scientific activities for Bioengineering students, including organizing workshops, seminars, and field trips to enhance educational experiences.

2018/2019

Responsible for organizing the logistics behind multiple events for Bioengineering students, including coordinating venues, equipment, and materials for educational and social activities.
